1:48 O scale American diesel locomotive kits February 2024 - all these kits are now sold out.
|
2 DOORS DOWN is a range of 0 gauge, 1:48 scale, etched brass kits covering the small industrial switchers ("critters") and short line locomotives which could be found in daily use all over the USA. The kits are principally in etched brass, with cast whitemetal fittings. They are designed to be motorised using Slater's wheels, Mashima motors, Romford gears and Delrin chain and sprocket drive as appropriate. All these items are available from us ex-stock. The kits are designed to accept Kadee™ couplings; regrettably we cannot supply these. It is only fair to mention that due to pricing constraints, as well as a lack of information (!), these kits have little or no cab detail at present. Electrical pickups are not supplied in the kits, most builders having their own preference. We will be happy to advise those who may be unsure. Clear and simple illustrated instructions are included. |
